There's no shortage of things to do in FishHawk Ranch and the surrounding community. To help you choose, we've selected some of our favorite restaurants and locations:
Stein & Vine – Don’t let the fact that Stein & Vine is in a non-descript shopping center fool you. It’s a chef-driven neighborhood craft beer and wine bar. You’ll find an exclusive selection of craft beer available with a special emphasis on local Tampa Bay breweries. Wine lovers won’t be disappointed. They’ll enjoy a menu with some fantastic vino from around the globe. And don’t forget the food. Stein & Vine offers a delicious menu of burgers, gourmet tater tots, sandwiches, and the not-to-be-missed Pig Wings.
Wat Mongkolratanaram Thai Temple – On the banks of the Palm River, you’ll find the Wat Mongkolratanaram Thai Temple, a completely unassuming masterpiece. This Buddhist temple offers a wildly popular Sunday market with authentic Thai dishes, soups and desserts prepared by church volunteers. Enjoy your meal on picnic tables that overlook the water, check out the tent with plants and garden materials available for sale or step in and admire the Temple’s interior. The Sunday market is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Be sure to get their early, as the food usually runs out around noon. The market is cash only. The public is welcome to the meditation workshops and many religious festivals that are held at the Temple through the year.
The Talking Pint –The Talking Pint has been described as a tavern with a coffee-house feel. Located in the River Springs Town Center on Boyette Road, this local favorite offers an excellent selection of wines and craft beers, with an emphasis on American microbrews. With a limited number of beers on tap and in bottles, the selection changes frequently. The Talking Pint also offers a menu of salads, sandwiches, healthy snacks and vegetarian options.
Cool Beans – Located right in FishHawk Ranch at Park Square, Cool Beans is cozy and cool neighborhood coffee house. You’ll love the ambiance with features artwork and memorabilia. It’s the place to enjoy coffee and espresso drinks, bakery treats, snacks, gelato and smoothies all day. In the evening, wine and beer is available. The relaxing vibe of this local hangout will make you want to be a regular.
Art Monkey – Also in Park Square, Art Monkey is an art studio and ice shop all under one roof. Express your creative side by painting pre-made pottery, sign up for one of the adult or children’s painting classes and then have yourself a sundae or ice cream cone. The Art Money also hosts birthday parties, fundraisers and Girls’ Night Out events. Other events can also be scheduled.
