Realtors are known for being some of the most discerning homebuyers. When long-time homebuilding executive-turned-real estate agent Bob Jesski and his wife, Leslie, started looking for a new home they had three requirements: it needed to be in a convenient location, be close to their adult children and grandchildren and have upscale design features.
“We wanted to downsize, but many of the homes we looked at were wonderful for first time homebuyers, but just didn’t suit our needs,” explains 68-year-old Bob, who spent 30 years in the homebuilding industry as a sales and marketing executive.
Bob admits that Encore at FishHawk Ranch wasn’t originally on his radar. Turns out, the community is exactly what he and his wife were looking for.
“It checked all of our boxes. We moved in just a short time ago, but the community already feels like home. It’s comfortable and everyone is so friendly.”
Bob credits the sales staff at David Weekley homes for taking the time to listen to what he and his wife were looking for, and then offer home suggestions that met their needs
The couple, who previously lived about 10 to 15 miles away in nearby Brandon, liked how convenient Encore at FishHawk Ranch is to their workplaces and other Tampa-area attractions. But it’s Encore’s maintenance free lifestyle and outstanding amenities that help solidify their purchase.
“I don’t have to worry if the pool man or the lawn mower doesn’t show up, because that’s all taken care of. When we want to travel, we just lock the door.”
Bob is already looking forward to his workouts at the Oasis Club, and lounging by the resort-style pool. And since a new dog has joined the family, Bob also plans to use some of the other FishHawk Ranch offerings, such as the dog park.
For the Jesski’s moving to Encore at FishHawk Ranch has been one of the best decisions they’ve ever made.
“We’re extremely happy here. We love being with neighbors our age who are successful men and women. I just can’t imagine living anywhere else.”
