Residents Grow with the Community
Daniela P. and her family have been living in FishHawk Ranch since 2004. Over the last decade, her family has grown right along with the community – and they love it just as much today as they did the day they moved in.
“In 2004, my husband and I were living in Pinellas County, very busy with our three young children – preschool, Kindergarten, and first grade. Pinellas County had just introduced their School Choice Program, and while it offered us a lot of options, we found that commute times to the best schools were just too long for our little ones. And there was also some risk that all of our kids would not be able to attend the same school. Because their education was our primary focus, we decided to start looking for new neighborhoods, where great schools were close to home.
Moving to FishHawk Ranch was the best decision we could have made. Our children went through elementary school, middle school, and now high school, with two already on to college. And we found much more in this community than we ever hoped for. Top notch schools, so many amenities to keep the kids busy, miles and miles of nature trails, planned events to enjoy, and wonderful neighbors.
Recently, we decided we downsize a little, where the kids still have space when they come home, but overall we have “less house”. It wasn’t even a question whether or not to stay in FishHawk Ranch. We purchased our second new home here, our youngest daughter continued in the same school, and our lifestyle continues to be the same. It has been a wonderful ride.”
