Opened in 2009 and named after a local philanthropist and businessman, Dick Stowers Elementary has already earned an “A” rating from the State of Florida. Students, teachers and parents have worked hard to establish an excellent school that enjoys the latest technology in the media center and library. Stowers Elementary is part of a joint-campus effort with Barrington Middle School and recently won a 2010 Architectural Showcase award from the FEFPA (Florida Educational Facilities Planners Association) for design.
