Newland Communities Takes Home 2015 Parade of Homes Honors

TAMPA, Fla. – Newland Communities, developer of FishHawk Ranch, Waterset and MiraBay, received a total of 10 awards in the 2015 Parade of Homes, presented by the Tampa Bay Builders Association. Waterset, FishHawk Ranch and MiraBay were each honored with a Grand Award, while FishHawk Ranch and Waterset also received seven Merit Awards.

FishHawk Ranch, MiraBay and Waterset are owned in a joint venture partnership between NORTH AMERICA SEKISUI HOUSE, LLC (NASH), the U.S. business unit and full subsidiary of SEKISUI HOUSE, LTD., Japan’s largest homebuilder and leading diversified developer, and Newland Real Estate Group, LLC, whose development business, Newland Communities, is the master developer of the community. The communities are part of more than 30 communities the NASH-Newland partnership owns together in 11 states across the United States.

“We are so proud of the outstanding builders that we work with, and are thrilled that they've been recognized,” said Pam Parisi, Regional Director of Marketing for Newland Communities. “The homes in our communities show the breadth of what Newland Communities offers at many different price points. Our strong relationships with high-quality builders are one of many reasons why people are drawn to our communities.”

Grand Award winners included The Clearwater, by Ashton Woods Homes at Waterset, in the  $260,000 - $275,999 category; The Hemingway, by Ryland Homes at MiraBay, in the $501,000 - $525,999 category; and The Durango, by Ashton Woods Homes at FishHawk Ranch Preserve, in the $826,000 - $950,999 category.

In FishHawk Ranch, Merit Awards went to The Bellhaven, by Ryland Homes, in the $326,000 - $350,999 category; The Thornwood, by David Weekley Homes, in the  $701,000 - $750,999 category; The Waldorf, by Cardel Homes, in the $826,000 - $950,999 category; and The Venezia, Homes by WestBay, in the $1,000,000+ category.
